Attn FLACARS Vendors, My name is Dan Meeks. I am the Executive Director of FLACARS. I am also a FLACARS Vendor. As I approach you to provide financial support in excess of the primary cost of your vendor booth I am asking you to join us (Repoman.com) in our support of the Florida Association’s efforts. There are very few event sponsorships available. Therefore we are urging vendors to purchase breakfast and dinner buffet coupons and pass them along to your customers. This next convention, just as the Repo Expo of 2003 & 2005, is vendor driven. 2005 saw more vendor participation than any other repossession convention... ever! With regards to the financial details of the conventions I feel it is important to stress that there is no profit being passed along to anyone involved in the production of this convention. Projected convention revenue is spent largely on promotion, prizes, speakers, food and beverages. You will be provided a financial report. This report will also be publicly published by FLACARS. We would certainly like to see some funds left over for FLACARS, but our primary concern is with having a successful convention. Success, for FLACARS, lies in a strong educational atmosphere with all vendors being provided a positive display of their products and support for the repossession industry. The majority of fund raising for the FLACARS Association is to be generated by pooling of membership funds. As a vendor you are granted a limited membership in the association. I would like to urge you to upgrade that membership by contributing to the pool of funds and voting on the budget and officers. This is optional and is merely shows support. The cost of that support is $100 per year. As your liaison I urge you to be direct and point blank with me with any of your inquiries, needs or concerns. I certainly appreciated the support, knowledge, and expertise each of you provides. Having this event at an Indian Reservation Resort with a casino on site should prove to be a very different and festive event.
